Dr. Scott Gleason

While not a native of North Carolina, I have spent most of my adult life in the Tar Heel state. I was raised in a Christian home and responded to the call of the gospel as a child. I was called to ministry at the age of 17. The greatest joy of my life has been the blessing of being a husband to my precious wife Bekah and a dad to three energetic boys, Daniel, Micah, and Eli. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Tennessee in 1996, and a Masters of Divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1999. I later earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Systematic Theology from SEBTS. I have served Tabernacle since 2009. Pastoring this precious flock has been one of the greatest privileges of my ministry. I am also blessed to minister alongside a godly and gifted staff. And I look forward to the great work God will accomplish through His church!
